Geometrix

Ceramic work

It began with a slab made into a cup. I cut the slab too short so I made a second one and overlapped the two pieces. It became a play with how to dissect the cup into sections. Within a certain size and shape, how many iterations could I make?

They are shields or sigils, a small army of straight-standing soldiers each trying to distinguish themselves on the field.

Stand up straight. Color in the lines. Brush your hair. Tuck in your shirt. Private school girls, forced into uniforms, will pay close attention to jewelry or makeup to differentiate themselves.
